The researcher of the iTEAM Sandra Roger obtained the second prize of the “IX Scientific-Technical Award of Algemesí
City” for his doctoral thesis entitled Design and Implementation of
Efficient Algorithms for Wireless MIMO Communication Systems. The awarded
research work proposes low-complexity algorithms to reduce the processing time
and energy consumption in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless
systems. The main objective of this work is to enable the implementation of
large MIMO systems in mobile communication standards from 2020.
