Stefano Sirci (S’13-M’17) received the B.S. and M.S degrees (with distinction) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Valencia, Spain, in 2017. He is currently with the Microwave Application Group (GAM) at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) at the UPV, as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate involved in RF passive hardware design. He has collaborated in research projects supported by the Spanish Government, the European Space Agency (ESA) and private companies. He serves as a reviewer for various journals and conferences, including the IEEE Transactions on Microwaves, Theory and Techniques, the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters and the IET Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation. His working is focused on analysis, design and integration of microwave passive components with advanced filtering responses (reconfigurable and quasi-elliptic filters) with emphasis on planar, substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) and coaxial SIW topologies in PCB and LTCC technologies.
