Lecture on Modelling and control of device casing vibrations for active reduction of acoustic noise

Date: June 19th, 2015, 12:00-12’40 h

Place: DCOM Meeting room, ETSI
Telecomunicación – Building  4P, 4th
floor Universitat Politècnica de València, Camino de Vera s/n, 46022 Valencia.

The presentation is divided in two parts. In the first
part, I will briefly introduce myself and my research regarding the active
noise control systems that I am currently working on in Gliwice (Poland). There
are two main aspects of this research – the control system itself along with
laboratory experiments. And mathematical modelling, used mostly for
optimization purposes.
Subsequently, in the second part, I will present the
memetic algorithm that I am using for my current work at the UPV. And I will
finish my talk with preliminary optimization results that I obtained up to this
