Multimedia Communications Laboratory


Multimedia Communications Laboratory of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) has multiple workstations and specialized equipment for evaluation, simulation and testbed related to the areas of QoS , QoE, video streaming, 3D and multimedia content distribution.
The equipment available in the Multimedia Communications Laboratory is focused on the development of iTV and mobile applications over web and Android platforms, service of content download and adaptive streaming for IPTV and DVB networks for multicast environments, development of eHealth applications, multiscreen sync and development based on open platforms (Arduino, Netduino, Raspberry) for home automation and energy efficiency environments.
