At iTEAM Research Institute, we see doctoral training not just as a phase but as the driving force behind much of our most innovative research. On May 22nd, two of our PhD students took part in the 10th PhD Students Meeting at UPV, an event that brings together researchers from all areas of the university.
Álvaro Martín Núñez:
Multiband Antennas in the Millimeter-Wave and Sub-6 Bands Using Cost-Efficient Advanced Guiding Structures
His work focuses on developing efficient, low-cost antenna structures for future wireless systems, within iTEAM’s research line on microwaves and electromagnetic radiation.
Javier Vera Sánchez:
Next-Generation Antennas for ADS-B Systems and Inter-Satellite Connectivity
Javier is working on advanced antenna technologies for air traffic surveillance and satellite communications as part of the European SESAR SATERA project.
Events like this one are a great opportunity to give visibility to the work of young researchers and to connect with others across disciplines. Just another example of how iTEAM supports research excellence and invests in the future
