The iTEAM hosts an international interdisciplinary visit

The iTEAM had the pleasure of hosting the SEMF Interdisciplinary School, an international programme that brings together students and researchers from a wide range of academic backgrounds, with the aim of fostering dialogue and learning across disciplines.

As part of their visit, participants explored several of the institute’s core research facilities, including the immersive holographic lab, the photonics laboratory, and the antennas and propagation lab; gaining insight into the advanced technologies being developed and tested at the iTEAM.

Other universities have also taken part in this program, including Harvard University, with presentations by Jacob Barandes and Johanna Hoffman; the Glasgow School of Art, represented by Katarina Rankovic; Tufts University, with Michael Levin; and Itzi Aldecoa from the University of Sussex and the ICCUB (Institute of Cosmos Sciences), among others.

It was a pleasure to spend time with such a curious, diverse and open-minded group.
