The iTEAM Research Institute of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) celebrates the inclusion of ten of its researchers in the Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists, compiled by Stanford University and published by Elsevier. This international recognition places these scientists among the most influential in their respective fields worldwide.
Of the 72 UPV researchers featured in this prestigious ranking, ten belong to iTEAM: José Capmany, Pascual Muñoz, Salvador Sales, David Barrera, Daniel Pastor, Beatriz Ortega, Ivana Gasulla, David López, David Gómez-Barquero, and Miguel Ferrando-Rocher.
The Stanford ranking is widely respected for being based on objective metrics such as the impact of scientific publications, the number of citations received, and the global relevance of research work. The inclusion of these ten iTEAM researchers reflects both their individual excellence and the institute’s ability to lead advances in telecommunications technologies.
