The Mobile Communications Group of iTEAM at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is organizing an event where technology and artificial intelligence will come together in an exciting competition. This race will feature a physical robot competing against its digital twin, a virtual model that will replicate its movements in a simulated environment.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 12:00 to 17:00, at the iTEAM Immersive Communications Laboratory (Building 8G, Access D, 3rd Floor, UPV). This activity presents a unique opportunity for students, researchers, and robotics and AI enthusiasts to witness firsthand the latest advancements in simulation technology and robot control.
The initiative aims to showcase the capabilities of digital twins in optimizing the performance of physical systems, enhancing the precision and efficiency of robots before their deployment in real-world environments.
