Pau Arce, researcher from the COMM group at the iTEAM Institute of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), participated as a speaker in the framework of the Future Forward project, a European Erasmus+ initiative coordinated by the Universitat de València in collaboration with various European institutions.
The Future Forward project aims to bring artificial intelligence (AI) closer to adult citizens, promoting its responsible use in both personal and professional contexts. By enhancing digital skills, the project seeks to equip educators to confidently navigate an increasingly digital environment.
His contribution consisted of an introductory talk on the role of AI in adult education, an essential area to address today’s social, technological, and labor-related challenges. The session provided an overview of how AI can be integrated into adult learning processes, encouraging the safe, ethical, and effective use of these emerging technologies.
