The Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) at the Universitat Politècnica de València is offering a predoctoral position in the Photonics Research Labs within the project:
“Photonics-enabled sub-Terahertz communications using directly modulated lasers in 6G networks” (HETERODYNE), recently funded by the Spanish State Research Agency.
What you will do:
- Research photonics-based sub-THz communications for future 6G networks.
- Experimental work on signal generation, processing, and integration for high-speed wireless systems.
- Collaborate in an international team and publish in top conferences/journals.
Candidate profile:
- Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, or related fields.
- Background in optical/wireless communications, signal processing, or microwave engineering.
- Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.) and good English proficiency.
