iTEAM took part in the II Feria de Investigación de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación (ETSIT), which brought together around 100 undergraduate, master’s and PhD students, along with six research centres at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV): iTEAM, ITACA, NTC, CVB Lab, IUMPA and IMM.
During the event, Pau Arce, Deputy Director of iTEAM, presented the institute’s activities and main research areas. The programme also included parallel sessions where students could learn about internship opportunities and the bachelor’s and master’s theses offered by the different centres.
The fair concluded with a poster session in which iTEAM researchers presented their work and answered students’ questions. Representing the institute were César Montaner, Mauro Gonzalo, Ana Stashkiv and Juan Gallego (MCG); Gorka Casasús (APL); Bibiana Parreño (GAM); Gema Piñero and Marta Valle (GTAC); Ramón Miralles (GTS); and Jaime Romero, Álvaro Cárcel and Oswaldo Martínez (PRL).
A great opportunity to share what we do at iTEAM and introduce students to our research projects.
