More than 120 people gathered at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) to explore the present and future of Artificial Intelligence, at an event driven by MWC Barcelona with the participation of iTEAM-ETSIT.
The day began with an opening by Narcis Cardona, a distinguished researcher at MCG, and concluded with a closing session by Héctor Esteban, director of ETSIT-UPV and member of GAM, together with José F. Montserrat, Vice-Rector of UPV and member of MCG.
During the event, Carlos Santana Vega delivered a talk full of clarity, context, and critical insight on the direction of AI, while attendees had the opportunity to learn about and engage with the Open Source AI Community promoted by the Ministry for Digital Transformation, open to everyone interested.
In addition, some of the most notable advances from #MWC26 Barcelona were shared, and key highlights for Talent Arena 2026 were previewed, offering a unique perspective on the development and application of Artificial Intelligence in Spain. Thank you to everyone who participated. See you at the next edition!
