The Advancing-5G-Immersive Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility designed to become one of Spain’s leading testbeds for validating emerging 6G applications. Its mission is to enable the development, evaluation, and integration of immersive technologies that will shape the future of communications, while actively supporting the strategic research agenda of the Smart Network and Services (SNS) European programme.

The laboratory is structured around three pioneering lines of research, each organized as a standalone but interconnected subproject:

• Advancing-5G-Immersive-Haptic, focused on tactile communications that enable high-precision remote sensory interaction.

• Advancing-5G-Immersive-Holographic, dedicated to real-time 3D transmission for advanced collaborative environments.

• Advancing-5G-Immersive-Telepresence, which explores immersive remote presence experiences with ultra-low latency and high fidelity.
