The 5G/B5G/6G Technologies Laboratory of the Mobile Communications Group (MCG) features a full end-to-end system for the emulation of terrestrial digital television transmissions under multiple international standards (ATSC, ISDB-T, and DVB). This platform enables signal quality assessment in both fixed and mobile reception scenarios, terminal performance characterization, signal coverage evaluation, propagation model calibration, and data transmission analysis in DVB-T environments.

In addition, the MCG operates a DVB-T/T2 pilot transmission system for field testing and real-world performance evaluation. This setup supports a wide range of advanced studies, including propagation analysis, coverage planning, hierarchical modulation, and the optimization of transmission and reception parameters, among others.
