The Microwave Applications Group (GAM) of iTEAM at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has been awared €1.2 million under the 2025 Scientific and Technical Equipment Call (EQC2025), co-funded through FEDER funds, for the development of a new advanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radiofrequency (RF) infrastructure.
The project will enable the creation at UPV of a unique facility comprising a high-performance semi-anechoic chamber, advanced RF equipment, and an ISO 8 cleanroom, aimed at research, development, and technological validation activities in strategic sectors such as aerospace, defense, telecommunications, automotive, and advanced electronics.
This new facility will support multiple research groups and centers across UPV, enhancing the university’s scientific and technological capabilities in EMC/RF testing and space technologies, while consolidating its position as a national reference in this field.
