Fivecomm, short for 5G Communications for Future Industry Verticals S.L., is an SME focused on the use and implementation of 5G mobile technologies for industrial and mobility applications. Founded in 2019, the company is a spin-off of the iTEAM Research Institute of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Fivecomm addresses real-world industry needs and enables business-to-business (B2B) market opportunities through 5G connectivity. Some of Fivecomm's core activities encompass the research, design, development, production, integration and validation of systems, solutions and products that use 5G and advanced 5G in public or private networks. By facilitating end-to-end hardware and software integration, Fivecomm realises 5G use cases in vertical industries such as automotive, energy and utilities, industry 4.0, entertainment and smart cities.

Its capabilities also include the development of industrial applications (NetApps) capable of being hosted in the cloud or on the edge. Complementing the software, Fivecomm offers a portfolio of high-tech hardware, covering a variety of IoT and 5G-driven solutions.
