Researchers from the Photonics Research Labs (PRL), Javier Madrigal, Valeria Hernández, and Manuel Monfort, presented their work at the International Conference on Optical Fiber Sensors (OFS), held in Porto (Portugal), the most prestigious global event in this field.
- Javier Madrigal presented: “Pipeline leaks acoustic detection using mechanically amplified fiber Bragg gratings sensors and artificial intelligence”, a project developed in collaboration between the PRL and GTS groups.
- Valeria Hernández-Ambato (PRL) presented: “SPR-based tapered MCF sensor for monitoring of Poly (T) – Poly (A) binding” and “Staphylococcus aureus detection based on tapered MCF.”
- Manuel Monfort presented: “Fiber Bragg grating 7-core hydrophone as an acoustic waves direction sensor”, a joint work by the GTS and PRL groups.
Thank you for representing iTEAM at OFS!
