Artificial Intelligence Takes Center Stage in an Educational Escape Room Demonstration at iTEAM

Jorge Sastre, a researcher from the GTS research group, conducted a demonstration of an educational Escape Room designed for primary school teachers. The activity was attended by Debra from American Space Valencia, members of the research group, and visiting professor Alejandro Soria from the University of Seville, a collaborator of iTEAM.

The demonstration is part of the research stay project “Learning Experiences through Interactive and Immersive Scenarios with Soundcool”, developed in collaboration with visiting professor Alejandro Soria from the University of Seville, and researchers Elizabeth Carrascosa and Idoia Uribarri.

The experience showcased the potential of immersive and game-based learning methodologies through an innovative proposal that combines storytelling, technology, and educational innovation.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the project is that all the visual and audio elements of the Escape Room were generated using artificial intelligence by Guillermo Montero Grande, a student enrolled in the Interactive Project Ideation course of the Bachelor’s Degree in Digital and Multimedia Technologies (GTDM).
