The Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación (ETSIT) at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) recently held its graduation ceremony for students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies and Services Engineering, as well as the Double Degree in Business Administration and Management and Telecommunications Technology Engineering. The event also served to recognize the contribution of organizations committed to the training of future professionals in the sector.
During the ceremony, iTEAM received an award in recognition of its outstanding involvement in academic internship programmes, as it is the institution that signs the highest number of internship agreements with ETSIT students. This distinction highlights iTEAM’s ongoing commitment to developing the talent sought by industry, complementing scientific education with exposure to the latest technological advances, facilitating students’ integration into the labour market, and fostering their professional growth.
During the ceremony, the importance of internships was highlighted as a key means of bridging academic knowledge and the needs of the technology sector, and the institute expressed its gratitude to the School for the trust it has placed in iTEAM. The institute also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its collaboration with the ETSIT to foster new opportunities for learning, training, and professional development for future generations of telecommunications engineers.
