Sergio Castelló, member of the MCG group at iTEAM, participated in the international scientific meeting HEROE-6G Workshop on Radiofrequencies & Health, held at the School of Telecommunication Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).
The workshop, organized within the framework of the European HEROE-6G project, brought together international experts in Engineering and Medicine to address issues related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields, the impact of radiofrequencies on health, and future healthcare applications of wireless technologies.
During the event, key topics such as the evolution toward 6G networks, radiofrequency exposure assessment, bioelectromagnetics, and the established health and safety guidelines for electromagnetic exposure were discussed.
The meeting featured the participation of researchers and specialists from different European institutions, who shared studies and results related to mobile technologies, wireless networks, and medical applications based on electromagnetism.
