Narcís Cardona, leading researcher at iTEAM, Director of the 6G Joint Innovation Centre and Vice President of One6G Association, has published an article in the magazine of the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación reviewing his professional career and analysing the evolution of mobile communications from 2G to current 6G developments.
Entitled “The Talent Cycle: From University to Society”, the article explores the connection between teaching, research, technology transfer and entrepreneurship as key pillars for fostering innovation and generating social impact through telecommunications engineering.
Among other topics, Narcís Cardona highlights the creation and consolidation of iTEAM as an international reference centre in telecommunications, as well as the importance of collaboration between academia, industry and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in accelerating technological development.
The publication also reflects on his experience in international initiatives related to the development of 5G and 6G technologies, as well as his current role as Vice President of One6G Association and Director of the 6G Joint Innovation Centre.
